Dumped Alex Reid claims that he thought about killing himself when estranged wife Katie Price ended their relationship.

The 35-year-old cross dressing cage fighter said: 'I was depressed... I've had some really dark moments over the last few weeks. At my lowest I thought it would be easier not to be here.'

In his first official interview since the bitter split in January, he continued: 'I feel humiliated. It was horrible because I usually live life to the full. I'm a strong guy. I'm a fighter. But this has drained me and taken all my energy and vibrancy.'


Talking to the News Of The World, Alex said he decided to break his silence over the disintegration of 11-month marriage after what he sees as attacks on him by Katie.

On her new reality TV show on Living, Katie was seen mocking his dress sense and she then gave an interview saying he might marry 40 times to find Mr Right.

He's also been left devastated by the speed with which the mother-of-three moved on to 25-year-old Argentinian model Leandro Penna following their split.

The paper claims that Alex broke down in tears as he insisted: 'After what's been said this week, and the stuff that's been on television, it's time for me to speak out and tell my story.'

However, the hulking boxer, who dressed occasionally in women's clothes to become his alter ego Roxanne, said he still had feelings for Katie.

He said: 'Seeing pictures of her with another man whilst we are still married is awful. Yes, I'm in pain. And in the last few weeks I've felt anger, rage, despair...But there's a big part of me that still loves her.'

'When I first saw pictures of her and that bloke Leandro I felt like I'd been punched in the stomach. I just tho"Jesus! How could she do that so soon, so publicly?"'

'This woman was, and still is, the big love of my life and leaving her was always going to be hard. I just wish it could have ended differently so that it hurt less. I would die for her and the kids.'

Alex also revealed that he was seeing a counsellor in an attempt to heal the mental scars of the break up and cope with life without his high-profile former partner.

He opined: 'I don't think I've ever been as lonely as I was in the last few months of our marriage.'

However, Katie has launched another furious attack on Alex, saying marrying him was the 'biggest mistake of her life'.

The People newspaper reports: 'Looking back now I wish I'd never met him.

'I let that man move into my home and become close to my kids. Now I can't believe I ever loved him.'

She also twisted the knife further by adding: 'Leandro is more of a man than Alex will ever be. Above all he is better in bed than Alex could ever dream of.

'It's over, he needs to get on with his life and stop talking about me...He needs to grow up and behave like a man rather than a spoilt schoolgirl.'

Alex Reid 'removes wedding ring'

Alex Reid has reportedly accepted the end of his marriage to Katie Price and taken off his wedding ring.

Reid was given the £2,500 ring by the former glamour model on the eve of their Las Vegas wedding last year.

Price, who announced the end of her 11-month union to Reid last month, flew out to Los Angeles yesterday, apparently warning Reid not to have any parties in her Surrey mansion while she is away.

"Although the divorce is pressing ahead, Alex still wore his ring around the house and she never complained," a source told The Sun. "She has been leading him on for several weeks now - that is why he hasn't left the house. She told him she needs him there as her bodyguard.

"But yet again she has jetted off around the world and discarded him like a used tissue."

They added: "He understands that he needs to take off the ring to move on, which he has now done. He's in pieces about it."

Price has reportedly taken her son Harvey to LA with her, while Peter Andre has taken their children Junior and Princess on holiday.

I am still having sex with Alex

Katie Price has revealed that she is still having sex with her estranged husband Alex Reid.

The model, who announced that she and Reid were separated in January, confessed that they are still sleeping together.

She said in an interview with ES Magazine: "We're separated. He still comes to the house but we're not together. Do I go and f**k Joe Public or do I go and f**k an ex? Can anyone here tell me that they've never f**ked an ex?"

The 32-year-old admitted that her relationship with ex-husband Peter Andre is completely different to that with Reid.

She added: "We are still friends, we are adult and amicable and he doesn't live at my house. It's completely different from Pete."

Price also claimed that Andre was "probably" still in love with her after he contacted lawyers over an accidental burn their 3-year-old daughter Princess Tiaamii got while on holiday.

She said: "I wish you could see the burn. It is tiny and not painful. She was with my mother and sister in Klosters and I asked them to put her pyjamas in the sauna so they would be warm and cosy for her when she went to bed and she must have followed my mum in and caught her arm.

"If you knew what went on over on Pete's side of things, it is pure evil. He's probably still in f**king love with me. That's the problem. There's a thin line between love and hate."

Alex Reid 'calls ambulance after accident'

Alex Reid reportedly called an ambulance to the Surrey home he shares with Katie Price after sustaining an injury while doing martial arts.

The cage-fighter, who has apparently refused to leave the house until he receives his divorce settlement, dialled 999 yesterday when he slipped and dislocated his shoulder, The Sun reports. Two paramedics tended to Reid and decided to bring him to hospital for an X-ray.

The paper claims that the 36-year-old received no reply from his estranged wife when he texted her to inform her about the incident.

"Alex was absolutely gutted by how cruel she was and now realises his wife has no feelings for him whatsoever," a source said. "He thinks she is a heartless bitch."

However, a spokesperson for Price told the Daily Star that they are "aware" of events.

Reid 'demanding £1 million for Price divorce'

Alex Reid has allegedly told Katie Price that he will only agree to a divorce after a £1 million pay-off.

The Celebrity Big Brother winner reportedly rejected a £250,000 confidentiality deal that would ban him from talking about his 11-month marriage to the glamour model, deciding instead to pursue the six-figure sum as compensation for being "used" and "abused" during their relationship.

The Mirror quotes Reid as telling a friend: "I’ve been used, abused and treated like ­Jordan’s puppet - all ­because she can’t get over her last ­husband.

"I'm now doubting she ever loved me - it’s as if the whole ­marriage was a sham and a ­publicity stunt."

Meanwhile, a source insisted that Price would refuse to let Reid take a chunk of her £30 million fortune, as she considers herself to be solely responsible for his rise to fame.

"He’s saying that if she wants him to go then he wants a house and a business, which will cost around £1 million.

"Katie doesn’t want to give him money. She’s saying that without her he is nothing. He has a weekly magazine column and has ­appeared on a TV ­reality show, all on the back of her. She says he’s done well out of marrying her and made his ­money so he needs to sling his hook and think himself lucky. She just wants rid of him - and quick."

However, other insiders have claimed that the Page 3 icon still cares for Reid and has been genuinely damaged by their chaotic separation.

"She might come across as as hard as nails but this is ­hurting her," a source said. "The last thing she wants is a messy divorce like the one she’s only just put to rest with Peter [Andre]."
