But Jennifer Lopez looks, and dresses, much younger than her age.

The American Idol judge flashed some serious skin yesterday in a risque cut out mini dress which showed off the tops of her thighs and the sides of her bottom as she appeared on BET's 106 & Park show.

The cream creation accentuated the stars enviable curves and she paired it with silver stilettos and simple silver hoops.

The singer has been promoting her new album LOVE? and appeared on the show's Top Ten Live countdown as part of the promotional tour.

The album, which is released tomorrow, has been getting rave reviews from music lovers.

The Daily Mail's own music critic, Adrian Thrills, gave the record four out of five stars calling her vocals 'forceful and distinctive, ' and the album as a whole 'well paced.'

Last night after her TV appearance she joined her husband Marc Anthony at the Costume Institute's annual Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Jennifer Lopez turned her trip to New York into a family affair today.

The singer, who is on a promotional tour for her new album Love?, reunited with her mother Guadalupe and her younger sister Lynda as she left the BET Studios in Manhattan.

The 41-year-old opted for a white hot look in a trench coat and silver heels while the rest of her family kept it casual.

Lynda, 39, who is an Emmy Award winning television journalist, took along her daughter Lucie, who turns three in August.


Of course, Jennifer is no stranger to the Big Apple - she grew up in The Bronx and her debut album On the 6, was a referenced to the 6 subway line she used to catch when she was just starting out.

While the star is now close with her family, it hasn't always been the case.

Jennifer and her mother, a former kindergarten teacher, have had a tumultuous relationship over the years and at one point the pair didn't speak.

She left home at 17 because her mother was furious she had turned down a place in business college to pursue music.

'I did not want this lifestyle for her,' Guadalupe admitted in a documentary about her daughter last year.

Mother and daughter continued having a troubled relationship, even after J-Lo found fame, but a key emotional turning point came when Jennifer became a mother herself.

'She gave me a card saying, "The way you feel about Max and Emme I feel about you",' Jennifer recalled.

Meanwhile, Jennifer today said her twins aren't old enough to watch her raunchy music videos.

Her brand new video for the single I'm Into You features the 41-year-old beauty writhing on a beach with shirtless actor William Levy, 30, who is known as the 'Brad Pitt of Mexico'.

After showing a preview of the sexy video the host of US morning show The Today Show, Meredith Vieira, 57, said: 'You are so funny because while we were watching that I was looking at the guy and you were thinking about your kids, your three-year-olds right?'

Lopez looked embarrassed and replied: 'Yeah, they will not see that now. They can see that later when they are older.'

Defending Lopez the host said: 'They will see that their mom is hot, what's wrong with that?'

The star, who has twins Max and Emme with her husband Marc Anthony, 41, filmed the sensual beach scenes filmed at Turtle Beach in Mexico.

Lopez was recently voted People magazine's Most Beautiful Woman.

She said she hopes to spend Mother's Day, which falls on May 8 in the US, doing 'nothing.'

'I haven't had a day off in months,' said the American Idol judge.

'I just want to be at home with my babies, doing nothing.'

Tasty treats: Jennifer Lopez looks ultra glamorous as she models for her first campaign for Spanish jewellery firm Tous


She is clearly a woman of many talents with a career that has included millions of albums sold worldwide, a slew of blockbuster movies and a huge collection of merchandise baring her name including perfume and clothing.

But Jennifer Lopez is adding another notch on her belt - modelling.

The American Idol judge looks stunning in a new campaign for Spanish jewellery designers Tous which will appear in fashion magazines and on billboards globally.


In the striking pictures, the American Idol judge dons a slew of brightly coloured outfits to show off the precious baubles.

The oriental themed shoot, which shows Jennifer in silk dresses and using several Asian inspired props, débuts the new range of earrings, bracelets, necklaces and rings for the 90-year-old company.

In one shot Jennifer, 41, poses seductively with a gold bubble earring hanging off a set of chopsticks as if she is going to eat it.

Geisha girl: The campaign had a very oriental theme to it with Jennifer toting a pink parasol


In another shot the singer shows off her stunning figure in a strapless hot pink dress while she shows off a beautiful tiered necklace and matching cuff bracelet.

Another picture has the singer in sultry geisha style make-up with a sleek black eye and bright red lips as she models a hot pink conical paddy hat along with some stunning gold cuffs and earrings.

Jennifer was announced as the new face of the Tous brand last month having taken over from Australian singer Kylie Minogue and she appears to be enjoying her new spokes model role.

In out-takes pictures from the shoot she was seen hugging and laughing with Madame Tous, who helps design the line.

'She is a great illustration of our brand,' declared Salvador Tous, the company president said of Jennifer when her association was announced.

Jennifer has been hard at work in recent weeks with her new gig as a judge on American Idol.

The star also ruffled a few feathers this week when she made some comments about Cheryl Cole, who is being considered as a possible judge on new American Idol rival show X Factor U.S.

‘Someone mentioned [Cheryl] to me yesterday,’ Miss Lopez told Fabulous magazine.

‘She is a singer, right?'

‘I don’t know much about her and I don’t know her music. But I would be happy to learn about it.’

Miss Lopez's comments will underline concerns that British singer will struggle to make a success or carve out a career in the U.S.

Actress-singer Jennifer Lopez made good use of her current, high profile judging gig at 'American Idol' - by premiering her new single, 'On the Floor', on the reality singing show.

The video for the four-minute club anthem is chocked full of crystal chandeliers, gilded go-go dancers and a silver bodysuit rocked by Lopez herself, reports the New York Daily News.

Since it's February release, 'On the Floor' has reached the number nine spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

The song's success comes after a string of bad news in recent years which some thought signaled Lopez' departure from the music business.

We got a chance to witness international hottie Pamela Anderson in Season 4 of Bigg Boss. Guess what? It may just get even bigger than that - only figuratively speaking.

We hear that Jennifer Lopez may be signed up to judge a reality show in India.

'X-Factor' is a musical reality show in the US, and the desi version is all set to hit the Indian screens as well. Speculations were rife that JLo would judge this one. However, the smoke was formed out of a little misunderstanding. "JLo was to judge the US reality show X-Factor. Now the Pussycat Dolls will be on the panel. There's no such luck of JLo judging the Indian version," said a source.

However, with the ever-rising popularity of reality shows in India, it's only a matter of time before international celebs partake in the Indian frenzy, too. Pamela Anderson was just the beginning, we're sure.

Jennifer Lopez unaware of controversy surrounding copying Kat video

Jennifer Lopez has claimed that she 'didn't hear about' the controversy surrounding her reportedly smiliar music video with one of Kat DeLuna's.

In an interview on 'Despierta America' a Latin American television show she was asked "about the rumor of her supposedly copying Kat DeLuna's 'Party O'Clock' song to make her 'On the Floor' single.

A surprised Lopez said, "What? Really? I'm not aware of that," reports the New York Daily News.

Interestingly, an insider has revealed that that J.Lo's camp specifically requested that nothing about the Deluna debacle be brought up during the interview.

Jennifer Lopez's cousin enters Bollywood

Caterina Lopez, cousin of actor-singer Jennifer Lopez, has secured a part in a Bollywood film.
According to The Times of India the performer will feature in a song sequence for Bhindi Bazaar Inc..

Caterina revealed: "When they approached me for this sexy item number, I jumped up at it. And this gave me the perfect chance to come and work in Mumbai, which is the New York of India."

"I'd love to do a full-fledged role in a Bollywood film soon," she added.

The debut actress also revealed that Shah Rukh Khan is her favourite figure in the Indian cinema industry, saying: "I think he is very charming and I've had this big crush on him. I hope to meet him soon."
