Britney Spears Wants Nicki Minaj For Her Tour

TMZ has learned Britney Spears has lasered in on Nicki Minaj as her opening act for the upcoming concert tour ... and lawyers for the two are in "serious talks."

We're told it's looking very good that Nicki and Britney will reach an agreement in the next day or so.

Nicki would take the place of Enrique Iglesias -- who bailed at the last minute because his ego could not take opening for Britney.

Nicki is currently on tour with Lil Wayne -- those concerts end on April 28. Britney's tour begins June 17 in Sacramento.

Nicki Minaj Will Not Be Appearing On 'X Factor'

Don't plan on seeing Nicki Minaj at the judges table on "X Factor" -- TMZ has learned the rapper will NOT be taking a gig on the show.

Rumors of Minaj's participation on the show have been spreading like wildfire ... with Simon Cowell himself fanning the flames ... but sources connected to Minaj tell us she won't be a judge on the show ... adding, "There's nothing going on with [X Factor]."

Earlier this week, Cowell told reporters that many of the names rumored to be in talks with the show were most likely leaked from his own company in an effort to stir up interest in the show.

Jessica Simpson and Paula Abdul were among the rumored candidates for the judge's positions ... but so far, no word on where they stand with the show.

I've no romance in my life: Singer Nicki Minaj

Singer Nicki Minaj has revealed that she doesn't have time to think about romance as she is too busy with her career.

"I have no romance in my life at all, and it's not important to me right now. I have love for people who are on my team that I see every day and for my family, that's what makes me do what I do," contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.

"I also have love for people that I interact with. If I have too much of the romantic love, I feel like it will distract me. Right now I feel like a robot."

Despite having no time for her own relationships, the "Your Love" hitmaker believes her music is great for strong, powerful women who want to gain confidence around men.

"Girls tell me this all the time, 'Whenever I feel like a bad b***h I play your music.

"I want girls to get confidence listening to me. I want them to feel like they don't have to play second fiddle to a boy," she added.
